The benefit to the pharmacy is that the Infusion Plus nurse is available for a patient visit without the cost of salary, healthcare, workman's compensation or matching federal taxes involved with funding their own employee. The Infusion Plus nurse takes the initiative to request pertinent physician orders and patient history from the pharmacy, and schedule the patient visit. You can be assured the nurse will arrive on time for the visit with proper identification and well prepared for the infusion therapy to be administered.
